Essential Camping Equipment

to bring and have properly packed in your backpack

-Pre-Made Sack dinner of foil dinner for your Friday night meal

-Back Pack

-Sleeping bag

-Ground Pad

-Personal First Aid Kit

-Rain Gear or Poncho

-Bsa Handbook and Compass

-Tent(if you have one)

-Personal mess kit (fork, spoon, plate, bowl, cup, etc.)

-Personal hygiene kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, washcloth, hand soap, ect.)

-Flashlight (that works)

-Appropriate footwear (with extra shoes, boots, socks, ect.)

-Warm Clothing, hat, and gloves (extra warm clothing, hat, gloves)

-Warm jacket or coat

-Pocket knife

-Fanny pack with water bottles or canteen

This is only a suggested list. Please consult your BSA handbook and/or BSA fieldbook for other items that you should or should not pack. This list will vary depending on where and when we camp.
